REVIEW: Once Upon a Summertime: A New York City Romance by Melody Carlson

This story was a fun, quick read about a hotel manager in a very small town who needs to make a break from her circumstances and try something new in her career. Anna Gordon finds herself in need of a job and takes a friend up on an offer for a probably NYC boutique hotel interview. Anna revels in the busyness of the city and rooms with an apartment of flight attendants who are often travelling. It’s a perfect set-up for her to get her plans together. Enter Sean O’Neil, a childhood acquaintance, who also interviews at the same hotel. How will these two work things out as they compete for positions at the hotel?
Thanks to Revell publishers for providing me an advance copy to review in my own words.
