REVIEW: Two Roads Home by Deborah Raney

Two Roads Home is a Chicory Inn series story.  I have not read the first one, and I found this one easy to follow regardless.

Jesse Pennington works a sales job with lots of demanding travel.  Unfortunately he has trouble with a female coworker who both flirts and travels with him.  This could be disaster for his marriage.  His wife, Corinne, is a stay-at-home mom to their three little girls.  She appreciates his dedication to work that allows them a comfortable lifestyle.  But, the travel is wearing on her as well, for different reasons.

I like how the author handles this conflict with the marriage of the couple.  They have mutual respect for one another and this helps.  I do not like how the aggressive, female coworker can seem so disturbed but yet allowed to continue on.  Wow.

I enjoyed the story and will look for additional stories by Deborah Raney.  Thank you to Abingdon Press for providing me an advance copy to review in my own words.
