REVIEW: Every Waking Moment by Chris Fabry

Chris Fabry takes some of the most unusual characters and gives unique backstories to them through his books. In Every Waking Moment, we have Treha Langsam who is a young woman with an unknown past. She is inexplicably able to connect with the elderly folks at the Desert Gardens Retirement Home. Miriam Howard, the retiring director of Desert Gardens, has her own unfinished story as Miriam searches for purpose after retirement. I love, love, love, how Miriam approaches the retirement home residents. We learn about her respect and Christian love and patience for the residents through excerpts in the documentary that is being written and filmed through the course of the book. There are a lot of storylines going on in the book and you need to follow along carefully. Of course, they finally converge with a promising ending. I reviewed this book for the publisher and these are my own comments.
