REVIEW: Wishing on Buttercups by Miralee Ferrell

Wishing on Buttercups was an engaging story set in Oregon during the time of Western Expansion. Beth was left or lost from a wagon train on the Oregon Trail. The book tries to piece together her background story because lack of knowledge for Beth is hindering her move into adulhood and any romantic relationships. Jeffery, who was not at all likeable in book 1 of this series, has developed matured into a upstanding character. He, too, is trying to move beyond his past to make his way in the world as an adult. There are other side stories in this novel, but they add to the development of the whole cast of characters residing at the boardinghouse. I enjoyed it.
