REVIEW: What Once was Lost by Kim Vogel Sawyer

The “poor farm” in Kansas, run by Christina Willems, provides a refuge for outcasts from society. It provides a refuge for the main character, Christina, too. When a fire requires all the residents to find new homes in the nearby town, we realize that society is ready to meet the challenge. Read this story and follow Christina, Tommy, Cora, and Levi as they struggle with to find their own places in the world. Thanks to Waterbrook Press for providing me with an advance reading copy. I enjoyed this new story by Sawyer.
